We do a lot of reviews for people shampoo including specialty shampoos for many different hair and scalp problems. But we have not posted dog shampoo reviews in a while. So we would like to review a dog shampoo that is especially made for dog dry skin problems. After all the two main problems with dogs is dry skin and itchy skin. Dog dry skin shampoo’s often tout oatmeal as the single ingredient that can make a real difference in the health of the dog’s coat but more importantly in health of the dog’s skin to keep itchy from itchy and dry. People have the same problem but we use different body lotions instead. after carefully researching colloidal oatmeal, we were very impressed at all the benefits that it can and does offer dogs.

However, there is a catch. The catch is simply this. Most dog shampoos that list oatmeal as an ingredient don’t include enough oatmeal to make a difference. It has to be included at what we call therapeutic levels. THis cuts out about 95% of all manufacturers since they use less than the minimal amount prescribed by the ingredient’s manufacturer. and when we talk to the manufacturer about dog itchy skin and dog dry skin they suggested that we double the minimal amount suggested. This means that those dog shampoo’s on the market that have minimal oatmeal need about 8 x more than what they currently have in the dog shampoo. 8 x more! That tells me that these shampoos do nothing for common problems like dog dry skin and dog  itchy skin issues.

The shampoo that we do recommend, that exceeds the amount of oatmeal needed to be therapeutic is the dog oatmeal shampoo by Evolution Supply! Most men over thirty five know that the things in their body are starting to change.  Some typical changes that many men experience are hair loss, love handles, and decreased sex drive.  While some men just accept these changes as inevitable, you might not have to.  There are things that can make a difference, like eating right and exercising.  Saw palmetto is a natural supplement that may help with some of the issues men face as they get older.

Male pattern baldness is another issue that can be treated with saw palmetto.  Hair loss occurs because the level of dihydrotetosterone, or DHT, is too high on the scalp.  DHT sticks to hair follicles and does not allow nutrients to reach it.  This causes the follicle to shrink and loose its ability to grow hair.  Saw palmetto works by blocking the conversion of free testosterone into DHT, similar to the way prescription drugs such as Propepcia work.  This makes saw palmetto a good alternative to prescripton that may have adverse side affects.

Collagen is vital to the creation of beautiful skin.  It is the main protein that makes up the structure of the skin.  The way skin looks and feels is determined by the amount of collagen, and the condition of that collagen, in the skin.  One of the best ways to get collagen into the skin is with a collagen cream or collagen serum. Both the collagen cream and the collagen serum should use a hydrolyzed collagen to help get it through the skin or even hyaluronic acid which puts the skin’s ability to create collagen into overdrive.

The best way to get more collagen in the skin is to somehow increase collagen production.  There are some ingredients that have been shown to actually increase collagen production.  Some of the best collagen producers are Hyaluronic Acid, Matrixyl 3000, and Vitamin C.  A cream or serum with these ingredients may be able to produce natural collagen in the skin.  In turn, wrinkles can be reduced and skin will look fuller and younger again.
